The Symbolism of the Kingdom
“Is it time now, humble Father?”
Seeks the Only Son, Begotten.
“To lead Our people – Us alone –
As We did in Paradise Eden?”
Will they hear Us gladly now,
And want Us there to fall?
Do they ask Us for Our Spirit?”
“No, My Son, they demand Saul!”
They do not beg for You nor I,
But someone on the earth.
They seeketh not a Heavenly King
But of human stature and worth.
Very well, he’ll be provided.
And first of time be loved –
Later they shall learn that kings
Go from push to shove!
A king commands! A king demands!
Hires men; acquires girls.
He takes the best of conquered spoils;
Wastes his youth for gold and pearls.
“I warn thee, Israel! I warn thee now!
Such desired kings are not free.
Prices are paid for kingly reign –
The bestest choice is ME!”
“Son, they say no; wave Me aside.
“An earthly king!” they cry.
They will regret this, like Woman Eve.
Again, “Very Well,” I reply.
“I’m sending Saul, a godly man,
But like all he may fail.
And – grieve – he does, for man he is,
Whose faith can groweth stale.
My voice grows faint to those in power,
Why will none Me answer?
I calleth to the thronal seat;
To singer, poet; dancer.
No, My Son, their hearts are stone.
Most have forgotten Me.
But still, I keep them in My vision.
Captivity is the key!
The key unto their confidence;
Their restoration be!
Man fears to lose what’s striven for;
Loves what can be held.
So, Nations, Rise up! Seize Israel!
Humble what rebelled!
And Israel will return again –
Plead Me to restore.
And with joy, I’ll lead them home –
A Nation! – as before.”

The Symbolism of Christ’s Coming
“Is it time, My Faithful Father,
That My generation starts?
How many kings will reign in Judah
Before I the star-path charts?”
“Before Thou grace Earth’s sphere, Son,
Dozens will sleep in power.
Kings, sons of kings and servants
Will all reign in their hours.
We must wait that Ye descend
At a time perfect and right,
When census is taken; lambs born,
And the throne traded might.
Thou must not be born to royalty
That the earth affords beneath.
But in Spirit bear the princely mark
That I alone bequeath!”
