What would the story of Adam and Eve, Noah and the Flood and King David sound like in rhyme?
The question entered my mind as I dried dishes in our fifth-wheel caravan. And what followed was Divine Inspiration – a clear voice speaking into my heart the poems from Creation to King David, narrating from the perspective of God.
And that was the beginning of my inspiration to write the Bible in western poetic form. I outlined the Seven C’s (Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ and the Cross, Consummation) and the people of the Bible that symbolize Jesus and His Great Titles. From there, God grew the poem as I studied the Bible, finishing with a challenging section of Revelation – both the most eye-opening and the most difficult portion of the Poem.
I hope you enjoy following through the Bible with me as much as I enjoyed writing with various prose through the eyes of God. My prayer is that, above all, dear Reader, you continue a faithful look into God’s Word and realize how much He loves you and holds the World in His Hands.
