“I Am the shining Light below,

Follow Me for sight, to know

The path of Eternal Life aglow.

I know where I have come from

And to whence I go.

I testify this Truth of Me,

And My Father’s Witness, also.

The Symbolism of The Door

“Most assuredly I do say,

I Am the sheepfold’s only Door.

I watch My House where Disciples stay

Both now and forevermore.

I monitor who enters

And I supervise who leaves.

I Am their sole-safe haven

From destruction, wolves and thieves.

I Am not a pay-bound hireling –

No, I love and guard My Own!

For I Am the Goodly Shepherd;

They recognize My Voice alone.
