The Purpose of Prayer: The Lord’s Prayer
And one day, after working long,
Around Him whispers Disciple throng.
One among them dares to say,
“Lord, our Rabbi, teach us to pray!”
“Opens He His prayerful mouth
To recite an example piece;
A glorious template of a prayer
To encourage Man’s prayer release:
“Our Father Who is in Heaven,
Hallowed is Your Name!
May Your will be done on earth
And in Heaven, the same.
Provide for us, today, our bread,
And forgive our every sin
When we have mercy upon those
Who’s sin against us has been.
Protect us from the Evil One;
Forbid Temptation’s lure.
Yours the honour! Yours the power!
Forever and evermore! Amen.”
“Hear Him tell of what We Are
To those seeking signs of power;
Challenging the Heavenly Lamb.
Listen, Spirit – this the hour!”

The Symbolism of the Bread
“I Am the Bread of Life,
And whoever comes unto Me,
Shall not hunger; shall not thirst
Nor be cast away, accursed.
For I have come, not of My Will
But His who sent Me – be you still! –
He who sees Me sees the Father;
He who believes owns life, eternal.
As your fathers ate the manna,
Eat My Bread for life supernal!
The Bread I give? My very flesh!
My Blood must be your drink!
He I’ll raise on Infinite Day
O’er Eternal Life’s bright brink.
He who partakes in Me,
I will abide in he!
